Getting started
Up and running in 4 steps
1. Installation
A certified installer fits the charge point at your home.
2. Integration
EV MAP connects the charge point to its supervision platform and sends you your login details.
3. Log in
You log in to the EV MAP app, then change the temporary password.
4. Start charging
Charge with the right badge. EV MAP handles the tracking.
Good to know: always use your work email address. It links your account to your charge point and to your employer.
Two badges
The right badge at the right time
The badge is what tells a business charge apart from a personal one.
EV MAP Pro badge
For charging your company vehicle. These charges appear in your monthly report.
Personal / Guest badge
The white badge, for your own vehicle or a guest's. You pay for these charges.
To charge: plug the cable into the vehicle, pick the right badge and hold it in front of the reader; charging starts. To stop, hold the same badge again or stop from the vehicle, then unplug. The session shows up in the app.
Monthly report
Get your charging costs reimbursed
Measured
EV MAP records the energy used by every charge made with the Pro badge.
Sent
Every month, you receive the previous month's consumption report by email.
Reimbursed
You send the report to your employer with your expense claim.
The amount is calculated with the price per kWh provided by the employee or approved by the employer. Tell EV MAP about any change in your electricity rate: a rate cannot be changed retroactively.
Away from home, the Pro badge also works on EV MAP network charge points and through roaming, if your employer has enabled it. Without a badge, scan the charge point’s QR code with the EV MAP app to start.
